The summary on this excerpt is that no matter what the gas prices are( high or low) we will have to end up paying and if they are high then people would think twice about what they will do. Gas at higher prices will be costing those faculty and staff who have to go every day and what not. As prices are always going up and up people are always constantly on the road going from place to place and driving up and down throughout the town. However no matter how much that the gas prices go up people will have to end up paying for them. People would really have to consider where they are going to go and how they will spend their gas and if it will end up just costing them more gas or actually being a good use of their money for the gas.
